Francesca Santacroce, LMFT., CAADC

Owner/Director

Francesca Santacroce is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Prior to launching Serenity Behavioral Health, she was the Director of Operations at Adolescent Advocates. Francesca also led the Family Service Coordination Program at CHANCES and provided therapeutic services for women with mental health and substance abuse issues. Her early work includes providing marriage and family therapy at the Family Therapy Treatment Program and working with at-risk children, young adults, and families. In her practice, Francesca employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and 12-Step Principles. She empowers families to support one another through identification of unhealthy patterns and improved communication in order to create positive long lasting change. Francesca holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University. Francesca is a huge Eagles fan and enjoys spending time at the Linc, hanging by the pool and visiting family.

 

Brenna Kelly

Clinical Coordinator/Office Manager

Brenna earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University and has long been passionate about healthcare. With a deep understanding of the medical field, she communicates with both knowledge and compassion, guiding clients through the treatment process and addressing any concerns they may have. Brenna is dedicated to advocating for all clients and their support systems. In her free time, she is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys spending time with animals.

 

Lauren Leaf, MA

Therapist

Lauren earned her Master of Arts Degree from La Salle University and is working towards obtaining her LPC. Lauren utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy while incorporating a Strengths-Based Approach. Lauren strives to emphasize connectivity and rapport-building in her work with clients. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending weekends at the beach, staying active, and watching reality TV.



 
Kaitlyn Harkins, LPC

Kaitlyn Harkins, LPC

Therapist

Kaitlyn Harkins is a licensed professional counselor and earned her Master’s of Education in Counseling from Pennsylvania State University. She has worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, and adults in a variety of settings including in the community, universities, and mental health/substance use programs. Kaitlyn utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Theory. She values building a strong therapeutic relationship and incorporates a strengths based approach to help individuals explore beyond presenting problems to gain an awareness and understanding of self. Kaitlyn received the unsung hero award from Caron Treatment Centers in 2018. 

 

Jonathan Bumpas, MFT, MDiv

Individual & Family Therapist

Jonathan Bumpas earned his Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.  Prior to joining Serenity, he worked as a Family-based Therapist with at-risk adolescents and their families in home and community settings.  Jonathan works from a Family Systems model to strengthen relationships, set goals, and create lasting change for families.  He also served as a therapist at the Renfrew Center’s day treatment and intensive outpatient program helping girls and women in recovery from eating disorders.  Jonathan values the therapist-client relationship to establish trust and confidence that change is possible. He provides a safe space for teens, young adults, and families to create new patterns for connection, change, and personal growth.       

 

Jamie Kakkanattu, MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, PCCN, CCRN

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Jamie is a licensed nurse practitioner and board certified in psychiatric mental health, family medicine and progressive and critical care nursing. She earned her Master of Science Degree at Widener University School of Nursing and her post Masters in Psychiatry at Wilmington University. Jamie has worked as a clinical nurse in various settings for 10 years and is dedicated to providing personalized comprehensive care. She utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including medication management, cognitive therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational enhancement therapy, and interpersonal therapy (IPT). Jamie is an affiliate of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the lead PMHNP at Serenity Behavioral Health. She provides medication management and psychotherapy services to patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and addiction. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys traveling, going to the beach, painting, yoga and spending time with her French Bulldog Rocco.

 

Ashley Greene, B.S.

Graduate Student Therapist

Ashley graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a life science concentration in biobehavioral Health. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Saint Joseph’s University. Ashley is passionate about the mind-body connection and utilizes a unique and integrative approach for each client from a person-centered framework. Ashley plans to obtain her LPC and is interested in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and somatic practices.

 

Sabrina Zera, B.S.

Graduate Student Therapist

Sabrina graduated Cum Laude from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Drexel University. Sabrina is eager to become a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy following her graduation in June and is plans to continue to work with teens and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and OCD. In her spare time Sabrina enjoys staying active and watching the Eagles.
